Original Narcissus hangs from its release clamp.

Martin stands by photos of his original model blown up to the actual size of the final model

Just some of the 27 different kits used on the original Narcissus. All of which I was able to get!

The central section of the model fabricated in 3mm Perspex (Plexiglass) Note the Perspex mounting pole in the centre. On the original these was metal.

The front mounting pole sits against the triangular plates that will become the series of elongated slots that run round the model

The 2 rear engine mounts again fabricated in Perspex

The rear engine mounts in place against the central upright triangular rear pieces. Note the cut outs in the triangular sections to lighten the model & leave room for the interior.

Perspex plates are cut and fixed in place. Part of these sections will become the cabin windows.

The underside similarly cut to fit but with the front recess cut out into which goes a load of detail
