I was given only 4 days to build and photograph Tracy Island.

These photos show the construction of Tracy Island in Styrafoam, which was then covered with Polyfila.

This meant building the island in less than 2 days!

Issue number one of the very latest Thunderbirds comic, which came out in November 2000, also featured the Tracy Island shots I'd done back in 1992.

The finished Tracy Island model in the tank -which was only 6 inches deep!

My wife Jan helps make miniature ripples in the tank using a hair dryer!
